We’ll provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) you can submit to request reimbursement.

While Birmingham Breastfeeding does not bill insurance, many families are able to get reimbursed for their visits with us by submitting a superbill (provided by us) to your insurance provider. We’ll send you everything you need to file your claim—it’s easier than you might think!

All of our visits are 90 minutes. We offer three visit options:
In-home visit – $250
Office visit – $200
Virtual visit – $125
Follow-up visits are offered at a discounted rate.

Yes! We offer a gentle payment plan—pay a portion at booking, then the rest in three interest-free biweekly payments.
We know there’s a lot on your plate, and this is just one way we hope to make support more accessible.

Yes! Lactation care is considered a qualified medical expense, and we accept both HSA and FSA cards.

Once you book, you’ll receive an intake form by email to complete before your visit.
In your 90 minute consultation, we'll take the time to understand your needs, review your feeding history, offer hands-on support, and create a personalized care plan together. You’ll also have access to your lactation consultant for two weeks afterward for continued support.
And if we’re coming to you—please don’t worry about the state of your house. We’re moms too. We’re here for you, not your laundry pile.

If you’re coming to the office, bring anything you’d like support with—your pump, flanges, bottles, etc. We want to work with what you’re already using so your plan feels doable, not overwhelming.
And bring your questions—no concern is too small. This is your time.

Yes! Virtual visits are perfect for many feeding concerns and follow-ups. They’re a great option if you’re out of town or just prefer!
